What is Project STAR
Project STAR - Saving Time and Resources is a business re-engineering project commissioned by the Branch Executive Committee to take a comprehensive look at the services and business processes that State and Regional Offices currently provide and to review these processes ensuring efficiency gains and improved customer service to the Members of the Association.
During the next six months, the role of the employed staff is to facilitate the mechanics of the project. However, the outcomes of Project STAR will be determined by the Members of the Association. It is your Association and so who better to determine the future than you?

Why is Project STAR a Crucial Activity?
For a number of years, the demands of your time as a Member of the Association have been taken up with an increased administration requirement. This has reduced your available time to fully support the young people who participate in Scouting.
Project STAR aims to address this issue by closely looking at the processes that directly affect you:
- To make your Scouting administration simpler so it works better for you
- To give you back time to help you focus on growing your membership and program delivery
